Clients were thrilled that the grass was green and as temperatures returned, the natural chlorophyl color was soon on its way to maintain the lasting look.[/caption]

Buy Sod's Tri-State Farm was growing gorgeous, healthy Centipede turfgrass.  Tri-State Turf Farm is a family-owned sod production farm operating since 1985 in Newton Grove, NC. In early to mid-April the entire farm was green with springtime growth and high volumes of chlorophyl. Then a frost rolled in and the natural green flushed out of the grass blades. One weekend frost and customers were about to be left in a lurch. The suddenly dormant but healthy Centipede turfgrass needed green color fast. Endurant FW (fairways) and Endurant PR (Perennial Rye) were the shades chosen for the job. Endurant FW is a rich color commonly used on bermuda grass fairways and in many other applications. Endurant PR is a bright, vibrant green reminiscent of the perennial rye turfgrass golf courses of Augusta. Tri-State Farm chose to combine the two shades for their preferred shade of green. Endurant helped save the day for clients across the country.
