A Japanese trading company is branching out into a new industry with excitement over a game changer for golf — Endurant turf colorants. Emi Hosaka, of Reptech Limited in Tokyo, Japan, is excited about the opportunities for turf grass management, especially golf course maintenance.
"In Japan, I am the biggest fan of Endurant," says Emi.
I was introduced to Endurant Turf Colorants by my friend Kevin Smith, a golf course superintendent who was working in Japan at the time. Kevin has a great deal of knowledge and experience in golf course management, and most importantly, he is a very honest person. He used Endurant products for many years as a superintendent in North Carolina with great success on greens, fairways, and tees. As he told me, the best turf colorants are not obtainable in Japan. That's when I first heard about Endurant and wanted to make it more available here.
We learned about turf colorants and how they are good for the turf. There are many benefits, such as making the landscape more beautiful, but the most interesting thing is that it has a positive effect on the turf itself in the winter. The green color absorbs more sunlight, accelerates spring growth, and reduces the use of pesticides and fertilizers.
In all of these ways, Endurant is superior to other turf colorants.
Our company was established in 1988 and is a trading company whose main business is overseas. Most of the products we handled were electrical and electronic components. Until about 10 years ago, the Japanese electrical and electronic industry was booming. However, the industry is currently not very active and most of it has moved to the Asian region, mainly China.
We have changed the direction of our business for the future.

Reptech tested Endurant on turf this summer, including on withered turf. We compared Endurant with several other turf colorants in Japan under the same conditions (concentration, dilution ratio), Endurant was superior to all of them. We have confidence in Endurant. It's going to be a game changer this winter.
First of all, we would like Endurant to be used at golf courses in Japan during the winter season. It will make it easier visually for players with the added color contrast on the golf course. Also, they can play comfortably in a beautiful landscape. Further, turf managers will enjoy added ease in maintaining the turf.
