Launching a Grass Painting Business
John Tunsill launched his grass painting business, Gator Green Grass, servicing Jacksonville and the surrounding Northeast Florida area in late winter to early spring 2021.

Funny Side Stories: Green with Envy Causes Unknowing Neighbor Strife
Tunsill didn't realize until later that the success he had caused a neighbor to go green with envy. Unfortunately for that neighbor, it came at great expense and limited success to try to keep up with the Tunsills.
"After I sprayed my lawn, I saw the neighbor resodding. He dug up his whole yard," said Tunsill.
Tunsill then told the neighbor about the Endurant colorant and that he'd hoped to share it with him, so the look was uniform.
The neighbor had received a letter from the home owners' association about his lawn, so he thought new sod would do the trick.
Unfortunately, at that time in late winter, the grass they put down in North Florida was still dormant, so it was brown.
"He was so furious he spent that money. He was devastated. He looked like a sad puppy," said Tunsill.
